Question: I’m a sophomore in high school. Do I have to make a decision now about my college major? Or can I still successfully apply to colleges if I did not focus on one area throughout high school? Answer: You do not have to decide early on about your college major. Even if you have a passion or passions that you consistently focus on during high school, you can still apply as an undecided major to school. Nor must you do only activities in that passion. You can do clubs, volunteer, etc. in unrelated areas as long as you show at least one “love” – an area in which you participate/study more intensely.
